how many fish have you bought in 2007?

i lost track.
but it'd be something around 35-40.
all i can remember is 13 baby pbass.
3 of which survived til now.
a SH.
maybe 10-13 bichirs.
a redtail payara.
some scombs.
an ID cat.
some other oddballs....

oh btw.
feeders do not count.

so,how many did you buy in the great year 2007?

oh and,my many of my fish died cause my parents decided to turn off the power when one of my tanks sprung a leak.
right now i think i have more than what i stated...

I bought only 5 fish because I only have a 55 gallon and parent won't take me. And I don't have a job. YET

I have caught many a tropical at my local minnow netting haunt - free fish are the isht when they're healthy! One local pond is loaded with convicts and texas cichlids. I wouldn't surprised by anything that comes out of there...

I try to adopt more than buy. Craigslist and yard sales can gather quite a few good free fish in a big city. And then I trade the adoptees for fish and crustaceans I really want! I've traded big plecos I've adopted for free from one LFS for smaller plecos that I really wanted at another LFS a couple blocks away.

Still, I think I bought about 20-25 fish this year. I'm moving this year so I'm not buying any more until the move is over - when I of course, will get more tanks and need MORE fish!!!
