Whenever you look up "freshwater jellyfish" the first, and only thing that usually comes up is "Craspedacusta sowerbyi". For that reason I thought that was the ONLY type of freshwater "jelly" around (its actually a hydroid) but in my quest to find out what kind of jellyfish I saw at the petstore was (thread about that in the marine section) I encountered this guy

This species doesn't even have a scientific name. I have never seen or heard of anything like this before. Does anyone here know anything more about any other types of freshwater jellies?
