I have a senegalus bichir since 3 weeks ,he's living in a 50 gallons community tank, my quetion is Are 50 gallons enough for one senegal poly?I'm thinking about purchase more senegal polys (at least 3 more) and some ornattes.
Soon they will be moved to a 100 gallons aquarium(just give me 2 months).
But which is the correct tank for these creatures?
.

IMO, 50g is enough for a senegal.
with the bigger species like ornate and endli, 100g is ok. i have kept this species in a 4 feet tank before.

the bigger the tank the better, im pretty sure you will add more bichirs in the future.

What is that download in that link you posted? It seems really shady......(virus like)

i would say a 40 breeder would be fine

I'd be bold enough to say I think a 29g would be fine for a Senegal.

Grow it out in the 50, transfer to the 100. Sounds fine.

That link is a nasty lil virus, don't click it.

and spyware, nerfed my net connection too. Please code your spyware better newbie!
