my dad is making a 35 by 70 pond that is 30 inchs deep and i want to know how many gallons will it be?

I'm assuming you mean 35 FEET by 70 FEET? If so, it's gonna be decent size... 45 818.18 gallons to be exact.

If it's all in inches, you're only looking at 318.18 gallons...

yep in feet so it'll have 45,818 gallons and can you post a pic of a pond thats around that size so i can know how big it'll be and to see is i want to downgrade it

30" is pretty shallow, you will have birds hoovering over the pond eating your fish all the time. You might want to consider making at least part of it deeper.

That's gonna be a nice size. Adding fish I assume? Ah, and living in Florida has climate to keep those fish out there all year around! Damn winter here...

I agree with the "it's too shallow" post...

just keep some alligators in there, that will take care of the birds.
the alligators will eat the fish and stingrays some one said dont keep it deeper than 36 inches im going to keep stingrays and sharks in it and some pics of a pond that big would be great and ill shoot the birds before they can touch the fish

A salt water pond? Good luck with that.

Shooting birds is a short trip to the local court house and mega fines.... better start saving up for them now.
