How many geophagus in 220g L72"xW24"xH28

Iv just called my pet store and they only have geophagus surinamensis but not many left so would have to reserve them. So thought I'd ask on here first how many to reserve? For my 220g
I will be having a school of around 30/40 small fish some sort of tetra. Around 10 Corys that are fully grown from my 55g.
How many to reserve?

Might be a bit late to beat the shop closing, but I just asked how many Geos could go in a 125 and was told 5-6 would be a good number. So I'm thinking you could easily fit more in your tank, around 10

I did reserve 10 before they shut haha I'd ask the shop but they would say 30 lol

They won't be surinamensis.
More likely altifrons or Dicrozoster.

They are always sold under that name but true surinamensis have not been imported for at least a decade.
It's just a catch all name now used by fish stores that can't tell the difference.
Post pics if your geos when you get them and we can id them for you.

How big are they?
For £11.00 each I would want them to be at least 3 to 4 inches.

I have paid around £5.00 each for altifrons,Abalios,Dicrozoster. It's normally one of these that are sold as surinamensis.
They were around 2inches.
