http://www.proteinskimmer.com/Produc...ges/EV1000.htm that one. I dont not like the brand recommend. and it does not tell me how many gph pump is needed for this skimmer. Also i do not like the price the pumps they recomend are. i found a 6000 gph pump(that am using for the filter) cheaper then there "recommended" pumps. also this ALL ties with this thread http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=400890 i still need help with that thread also.

thanks.

It looks like they recommend 1500 to 1600 gph for the pump. Surprising to me because I have the size smaller and it uses a 1800 to 2400 gph pump.

You do need to stay in a recommend range area for these skimmers. If you use too small or big pump, it will affect the performance of the spray injector. A 6000 gph pump is way too big for this skimmer.

You may be able to use a MagDrive 18 or 24.

Am thinking I'll buy a 1500 thanks =) and the 6000gph is to power the whole filtration unit (my sump) that's why I added the link to my other thread so people will not get confused :)

I think it tells you on the site man...those mag's push whatever the number is behind their name at 0' of head...which is essentially what you will be running it at so just use that as your standard.
