How many here keep Palmas Palmas ?

Haven´t seen many here on MFK, just wondering how many here keep them and what size they are?
Are they commonly available or rarely seen?

They have only been available here once, a LFS ordered 5 in 2007, 2 jumped out and died at the LFS the first night, i got 2 and someone else got 1, never found out where he went though..

Like I said, i have 2, they are 9.5" and 10.5", very shy.

And yesterday, the color is really improving since i started feeding New Life Spectrum:

Mine is still small, about 8 inches. I don't think they are that rare.
You have a nice specimen. What NLS food are you using?

not even sure they are mature enough to tell but both have small anal fins, the smaller one is a little big bigger around the fin so it might "end up as being" male.
