I have my eye on 2 fish. A red spot severum or a gold severum and a heros notatus. I Already have a green Heros 3". Here is the stocking so far.

1 green severum
1 ebjd
1 Geo Bahia red
1 blue acara ( might sell him)
6 emperor tetras
6 red eye tetras (will move tetras once others grow)
3 pictus cats
1 rubber nose pleco.

So if I sell the blue acara would 2 other severums be ok? It's a 6' x 18"x23" tank. Severums are like chips you can't stop at one. I'm hooked on these guys. Or should I just get one? I love the color the gold and super red severums. But I love the look of the notatus and it's natural beauty.

Ok well after looking around I figured it will be fine. After seeing some of the tanks in the Overstocked tanks I know it will be ok.

I just ordered a Heros Notatus and a supper red severum. I'm so excited. I love just severums. They are the best fish IMO. I should have the big tank up next month. It's going to be a lot of work I have to move furniture, fish tanks, all my fish and plants. I'm not looking forward to all the work BUT it will be worth it in the end.

I can't wait for the new fish.

yeah one more should be fine, but FYI usually geos need to be kept in groups so you might want to find another home for your geo where he can be with others as im not sure your tank has enough left over room for a couple more...

It's a geo Brasiliensis but the Bahia red kind. They are not like other geos. They don't get along well with their own kind. So it's fine to keep only one or a breeding pair. I read there was talk about changing the name because they are differant all from other geos. They were going to take them out of geo family. It has not yet been done.

Thanks for the reply. I'm so excited for my new fish and new tank.
