IDK if this is the right section but I'm just wondering how long will it take before the BB dies in the sump will transferring? I'm planning to transport my 100 gal tank with 30 gal sump that is running for 5 years already to my dad, and the estimated travel time to get to his location is around 3-5 hours. For sure the sump won't be working during those times of course so I'm wondering if will the BB in the sump die? If so, will it be majority of the BB population or less? I plan on filling it to half with the old water btw.
