How many discus can i have in a 215ltr tank (60g) the tank is 39x18x18 with a bow front and has a built in trickle filter, also it has a plant grow bulb and 2 aqua glow bulbs.
I was thinking of having 4 discus and 20 bleeding hearts and a shoal of 12 corys (a breeding group),
-----OR-------
5-6 angel fish with a shoal of 20 bleeding hearts and then 12 corys.

With tall straight vallis and amozon swords with slate and river pebbles?

Any suggestions needed and will be taken into consideration1:headbang2

Should be no problem at all unless they start to get picky about territory when they pair up. If you place large plants effectively, the defended territory can be smaller.

I would start out (given that this is a well established tank) with six very young discus, and until they get a little older, I'd hold off on anything but possibly the corys. The majority of Corydoras species that I've kept tend to hide a lot (at first) which could give your discus a chance to better acclimate to their new surroundings before adding the bleeding hearts which tend to move around a lot and may make newly acquired discus a touch nervous.

cories are possibly the most active little fish. 12 is a good number, but id get 3 different species, one shoal of 6, and two spp of 3. they look cool together, and somewhat stay in there own little groups on occasions
