OK, so I have some female Endlers I've been holding in a 10g, they were pregnant when I got them so I've just been building up the colony untill I can start selecting parents to line breed for distinctive colour patterns (moving each batch of fry into another tanks as soon as they are big enough),
Anyway the last couple of weeks the 10g has suffered a bacteria bloom, then the cycle crashed then the fish started to so signs of stress from the low Ph of my water. Got Ph stabilised but one particularly round female didn't recover as well as the others and was very stressed yesterday, so I moved her into a 40 quart storage container with a heater and airstone. She was still not moving much this morning but did seem to be improving. When I got home tonight there were 14 fry in there with her.......no wonder she wasn't moving much!
Wondering what's the largest number of fry in one drop anyone else has had with their livebearers?
