I have a 110 gallon 72x20x18 i was wondering how many Plecos i can put in there. Also there are about 22 3-5 inch peacock cichlids in there.
I am not adding them for algae reason i like the fish for the fish.

I really could not give u the exact answer, but as of right now i have a 150g with 20x3 inchclown loaches 5 silver dollars and 20x 4inch plecos 1 8 inch pleco and lots of wood, and i have plenty of room.

i have 50 plecos in a 180,its only plecos,I have 30 big plecos in a 450 with tarpon and a huge fire eel.

Just make sure you keep up on the cleaning and make sure everyone is eating.

msmasspoly wow thats alot of plecos and I agree keep up on water changes plecos are like pigeons when it comes to the poop it gets everywhere

It really depends on the species. Some grow two feet long others grow 2-3" long. Some eat veggies, some meat and others wood. I have a 6"wood eater that outs out as much waste as an adult Oscar. Too many variables to answer with a specific number. If you talking about a common then well... maybe 1 or 2 since theygrow really large. But eventually 22 foot long peacocks will be too much for a 110 without the plecos

looking at just common Plecos i have a rena xp3 and a fluvel 404

i have a gold nugget, bristlenose, albino bristlenose, leopard cactus, snowball together in a 20L planted tank. they have plenty of driftwood and rocks and i never have any problems. i did recently move a gibbiceps to another tank because he was getting too large.

keep up with the water changes for sure.
