Hey guys! I'm brand new to MFK's! So i have a 175 gallon malawi tank set up and about 40 fish right now which include:
4 Blue dolphin Moorii
3 female 1 male venustus
2 common pleco
5 electric yellows
5 acei
1 electric blue ahli
5 saulosi
1 hongi
3 varied afras
1 dragon blood peacock
4 female peacocks (not sure what they are, except one I know is sunshine)
1 ob peacock
1 sunshine peacock male
1 yellow blaze
2 borleyi, 1 male 1 female
Everyone is getting along really well atm, but I'd really like to add more color due to it looking very yellow and blue over all. I have the tank designed where I have one half done with base rock almost all the way up for the mbunas and the other side has vallisneria and driftwood mixed with a few pieces of base rock. I'd love opinions, this is my first malawi tank and I love it. I'm thinking of getting rid of a few electic yellows and saulosi and possibly throwing the plecos in our pond (we are in florida so they do well outside) And how many is too many in this tank? Thanks!!
