how many kribs can i get in a 29 gallon planted?
male or female?
what do tehy need? do they need and cichlid salt or something?

i kept a mated pair of albinos in a 29 gallon tank alone and had many successful broods from them. i would not put any other fish in there with them, and if you do have an albino, remember to split the normals from they albinos a few weeks after they are free swimming.

A pair. They do not need anything fancy.

Mated pair fine as long as they keep mating, otherwise usually a problem even with a non-reverse trio. Females sometimes even kill males. Either way if you keep three or more kribs of any sex together in a 29, the beatings will begin and you'll see a damaged fish cowering in the corner before you know it.

I would advise against this. Kribs spawn easily and can attack anyone within their vicinity. Focus on middle to surface dwellers instead of bottom dwellers.
