How many live/prepared foods a week?(Read post first!)

I was wondering how many times you all feed live food/prepared food to your cichlids. Live foods can be anything from brine shrimp to feeders to fry form convicts to crickets to pretty much anything live. Prepared foods would be the frozen cubes, stuff like that. I do not mean pellets or tubifex worms, or the staple you would feed your cichlids daily.

I will start out with saying I feed these about twice a week usually. From cubes to crickets and earthworms, and I'm sure others.

I usually feed roaches which are on a high protein diet consisting of cichlid gold and tropical flakes, and earthworms two or three times a week. Feeder minnows once a month.

I put less than once a week, my cichlids never get live food and only occasionally I'll throw in some frozen krill or bloodworms. I do give a few different freeze dried foods though

I heard that live food and prepared foods are suppose to be fed like once week or so, so that's why I just made a poll to see what the majority does. I have some dried tubifex worms, crazy thing is though that none of the cichlids like them besides the GT. So now I have 5 ounces of tubifex worms(which is alot!) for the GT.

0-2 times a week, depends what I feel like feeding. Never live food unless something is breeding in the tank that I don't care about.

I don't feed live foods that often mabye once every other week and thats Crickets, Earthworms and mabye a Ghost shrimp or every few months

Prepared foods i feed 2-3 times a week mainly to my other fish but with cichlids in alot of tanks its pretty close to impossible to stop them from getting any
