How many loaches?

Hey... I've been lurking this forum for a while, and finally decided to sign up.

Anyway, I am setting up a 130 gallon tank, which will primarily be a Clown loach tank, with small fish like danios chilling in there as well.

So, how many should I keep? I was thinking 8-10, as I want to keep them comfortable for as long as possible, but on this site I have seen people with many, many more!

So... How many do you guys recommend? (realistically )

In a 130 I would say do at least 18.

it depends on what size you're getting them at and whether or not you want to keep them for life. in a 135 gal 18-20 is fine when they're small but understand that they'll need a tank upgrade in a few years since these fish can reach up to a foot in length. if you're not planning on upgrading and want to keep them for as long as you can then i wouldn't do more than 6.
