How many L's can i have in my aquarium?

Hi! how many L's can i have in my 40G aquarium with 6 Channa sp. assam?

I allready have a L-114, with 3''.

What combination you advise to my aquarium?

Can i have a Blue Panaque L 239 ? it's small right, 5''? Can i have another small L?

well u can have as meany as u want and sell them on or something like that and id say 2 plecs for life in that tank mabey need aan upgread in years 2 come becuse they might get 2 big lol

I was thinkin in one L114, a L200, and a L239... and for what i saw in the net they aren't so big... like this L114-10'' L200- 6'' L239-5''

am i right? or this sizes aren't right? My only problem is with L114...

I had 30+ L's in a 75 with many other cichlids. No fish in the tank was over 5 inches. I had a lot of wood, two canisters and did 50% changes weekly. If you are planning on having a few more L's in your 40, I suggest you up the filtration/airation and waterchanges. L's are great, but really messy.

Plecos are not as a whole the most hardy fish. Your sizes are off on a couple of the plecos you listed. First the L239 rarely attain 5", generally 3" SL is max. The L200s can attain a size much larger than 6", I have had adult males that push 8.5" SL. I would avoid adding much to your tank without big filtration, and lots of water changes.
