i have one laying around so i threw some rift lake sand in and it's cycling now. i was thinking about 6, sound good? i think i am going to get them from dave's fish because my lfs wants 30 bucks a piece or something stupid.

six would be the most you would want in a 10g. They will start breeding and you wont have enough room.
hmm, i wanted them to breed but now that you mention it maybe i dont... i would feel bad using them as feeders.
