Hey Folks,
I've got a small 8 feet long by 4 feet wide with 2ft depth pond around 400 gallons. I was wondering how many oscars can I comfortably keep in there? Also how would they cohab with a red tail giant gourami?

One breeding pair with an unusually friendly RTGG. To get a pair, you would need to raise about 6 oscars for 2-4 years, waiting for the pairs to occur after year 2. Then rehome the other oscars, and finally get a RTGG, hoping the RTGG doesn't wreck the oscars.

Thanks for the response. I've heard rtgg can be aggressive as well so probably will ditch getting an rtgg. Any better options for tank mates?

Aye. If I’m not wrong his YouTube channel is called matts monster fish (can’t rmbr), his Oscar in his pond got badly beaten up nearly to the death by a giant gourami
