I have a 40 Gallon breeder that I'm going to temporarily house 1 3"senigal bichir,2 4" Florida Gars and a couple of 1" dats in until I buy my 300 Gallon. How many penguin 350's should I buy? They filter 350 GPH each. I was thinking of getting two. Is this enough?

Should be fine with 2 350s. I use a 400 on my 75 Gallon and it keeps it clean. My buddy uses 2 400s on his 55 and it is pristine!

I'm running dual P-350's on both my JD tank and the Angel tank (both 55 gallons).

Working great!

more than enough just throw a little extra biomedia in and use one. But I'm not a crazy overfilterer like some people on here:nilly:

I think that may be too much as well. With a 40 breeder being so shallow, I would think it would be like a wave tank in there. I would go with one and increase the biomedia as well.

Yea I'd say one an then get like an aquaclear 50 or something.
