as the title says...i do...i just got mine and i wanted to make sure it was eatting so i took some shrimp and had it on my finger...put it up to its face and it ate it...i have done this with every feeding...it now comes to my hand and sits in it...i found this fasinating as i have not had it long and the first thing it ate was prawn and that was from my hand 4hrs after i got it...it is 3-4" and a SAL...anyone else that hand feeds notice this extra friendly behavior?

All my lungfish are hand feed. If I don't hand feed them, my bichirs and other catfish out competes them for food.

thats one of the reasons why i started hand feeding...do they tak the food nice or do you have to drop it just before they bite?

I hold the food still while they chew on it. If I let it go they will go to the bottom and there's a chance that another fish will steal the food as they like playing with food before swallowing it if you know what I mean.

its not that astonishing that they will hand feed they have poor eye sight and rely mainly on smell so if it smells good they dont care how or where it comes from just so long as it goes in their mouth

i wasn't realy shocked at the ease of hand feeding...more that it comes to my hand and will sit in it...i have not had this fish that long for it to trust me as much as it does...
