How many people REALLY believe in Love?

How many of u peeps still believe in love? True love? I really wanna know ur views on this. Personally right now I am having a serious struggle believin in it. I see so much heart ache, so much divorce and unhappy marriages, its super discouraging. Plus I've been burnt so many times in the past year or so from my past relationships that I'm just a little bit more than skeptical any more about it.....I want to believe in it though, so thats why I am askin u guys to tell me ur views...hopefully you will be able to give me hope and stuff. Cuz life with out love is a sad, lonely one....I don't wanna end up like that....thankz,

don't give up. Ive been out with a lot of women and finally found someone. things have never been better. Everything falls into place eventually. Keep your head up. You never know what will happen tomorrow.
 
Keep your chin up...and as far as all of the divorces, thats people confusing love with lust (most of the time). Make sure you can tell the difference, and keep that in mind. It is out there, i believe in it.
 
true love does not exist and thats a ludicrous notion. people can love each other to very high degrees, but that form of emotion is neither divine or absolute.


Emotions are biological processes that occur in the brain. In another 50-100 years perhaps, we could have the technology to make people fall in love with coke cans and used napkins by manipulating brains. We can already manipulate a human brain to make the owner physically move against his will.


Now, I don't mean to trivialize that, as strong emotional attachment is still extremely blissful (or) extremely difficult for anyone to deal with.
 
I agree. There is always hope. I know in my heart I found the guy that I love. We have alot of icky's going on right now though =( I have yet for the past year to give up on him, and our relationship. I feel that in my heart we are supposed to be with eachother and I know that deep down he knows that it also, which is why I REFUSE to give up. This kid is stuck and I dont care what anyone says =)!!!!! It might get really really tough at times but you have to find the light somewhere even if it's pitch black. I've been hurt alot, I have had alot of buttholie things done to me, but in one person I found good, I found trust, I found love. Sometimes it takes others longer.... but I am sure it all will work out ^__^

Your first sentence was stupid. Your second sentence is acceptable. If you don't know what love is... look it up in the dictionary.
