Im just curious how many people have successfully kept RTC & TSN cats together for a long period of time?

Not including tank size problems. I have been planning on getting a RTC and a TSN and i have had several people tell me i was crazy. And that a RTC will eat or kill the TSN no matter how big the TSN is.

I believe necrocanis was keeping a tsn and rtc together, but I'm not sure if he still is.

Considering there are plenty of hybrids of these two species around, I'd be surprized if it was really so 'impossible'.

A large environment with an assortment of large long tubes. The TSN are much more slender, which will allow them to utilise tubes which are much smaller diameter than what a wide RTC could enter, Providing these size difference in tubes will allow the TSN to escape from a roudy RTC.

I always had my two together. My rtc got slightly bigger, but it never showed a problem. I've had them together since they were 2". They are now 17" and the tsn was like 13" I want to say. I got rid of the small one recently but I have another TSN with him who is 16". No problem. As long as the rtc isn't extremely larger. Get them at the same size, if anything get the TSN a tad larger

I have a 4" RTC with a 7.5" TSN for about a month and they get along great they lay on eachother and swim together it is a great duo if you ask me. just make sure they are too much size difference because one might eat the other. thats not the greatest way to get a RTCxTSN hybrid.
