how many pittsburgh MFKers are there?

Hey all,
Title says it all, I was just curious as to what the fish keeping community looks like in Pittsburgh. There are only two really good LFS's in the Pittsburgh area, and of course JoJo at Ichiban Tropicals, so I was just wondering if the monster fish keeping scene is big in the city here.

My Grandparents lived in Sewickley from the 30's to the 90's(until death). I was born in Wilkensburg in the 60's. In the 70's we moved to Plum Buro until 78 then moved to California for a short time then Texas in 79.

My dad worked at Westinghouse


My dad has an awesome picture turned painting of steel plants back in the 40's-50's. I told him never to get rid of it. Next time I'm at his house I'll try to take a picture of it.

yes please do that sounds pretty awesome! I love the city. I live outside of it now by about 40 mins, and you couldn't pay me to live there again, but I do love the city haha.

x2... and nope, i am the lfs now haha... our last local stores outside from "chain stores" i.e. pets mart/pet supplies plus have all closed in recent years. Our closest lfs would b in Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Akron lol... i use pittsburgh airport myself for anything flown in or shipped out.

thanks man, much appreciated! im worth the drive if u wanna meet up one day for a trade/swap haha... over 4,200 gal in house as we speak and another 3500 being built . I do miss having lfs around tho. times are changin sadly.
