Whats a good number of reds to have in 1 tank? would 6 or 7 be a good number?

or should there ideally be more?

does it make any difference at all if there are more than less?
right now i have 3 rb's and i have asked the LFS to get me another 3 or 4 they are only under 1" right now also

anything over five looks really good in my opinion, it just really depends on the tank, if someone only has a 75 gallon tank, three or four is just fine.

I have 11 in a 100g Long. I plain to remove 3-4 when they get bigger. They are currently 4-5" and they are always swimming together.

In my opinion the odd even thing is only really important if you only have two fish in a tank. You would want to get a third one to throw off agression, but I think after three, odd to even numbers don't matter anymore. At least in my expirience.
