Hey guys,

My 19" jardini just died, and was thinking of doing a community of silver aro's.
I do not plan on housing them to adults, and will give/sell them once they get too large. How many 4" aro's can I keep in my tank, and for how long?

Thanks guys!

J

well if your just gonna grow out and sell, then get as many as you want. Be prepared though within about a year they will become to large for that tank of yours. Hopefully you will be able to find homes for all of them.

You can house as much as you want since you aint gonna keep them forever. But is it worth the effort in doing so? Keeping to non managable size and then sell them away... all the effort are down the drain.

well i just like growing them out when theyre small! I think ill get about 3 and grow em out for a year or so and sell/trade them for small ones again!

the only problem that i see with this is hardly any one ever wants them when they are over the twelve inch march or so good luck any ways

just make sure you find them good homes else you will have a big problem and an unstable tank and unmanageable fish on your hands
IMO don't do this just my .02
