Hi,
I was wondering how many silver dollars I could add to a 90g tank with and adult Oscar, and adult EBJD? I have plenty of filtration so that's not the issue.

Also, since he is a long-finned Oscar, should I be concerned the silver dollars might nip his fins? Are they known for that type of foolishness?

Thanks

I wouldn't put too many In there.

If you're dead set on it I'd probably add a couple and monitor nitrates between watwr changes and then add more if its not too bad.

That being said the 90 is already just about at capacity Oscar and JD. Regardless of how much filtration you have

I'm not 100% dead set, but I'd really like to add some type of schooling fish to buzz around the tank, and silver dollars are the smallest ones I could think of that are still big enough not to be eaten.

Silver dollars don't do too well in 4' tanks. They dart way to fast and often.
I think the Oscar and jack Dempsey will fill the tank nicely.
