MFK! I want to get an idea of how many times your south or central american cichlid has spawned. Please name the type of cichlid pair, how long you had it and how many times it has spawned. This will give us an idea of an average.

jewel cichlids, in 1 month they had 3 accidental spawns in a tank with fire eel, rope fish and other various nocturnal catfish they were alive and kicking for about a week 1 by 1 they were gone, they now have a 20 gal to themselves and the fry are living only to be fed to my growing out baby jag, EBJD, fire eel and our brand new flowerhorn
my F1 male con with store bought con, every 2 weeks. Now the F1 male con with F1 female con, tried twice but failed the last batch they keep for a few days then ate them and now its been 3 weeks and nothing.
1 time!!!!!! tiger oscar / albino oscar litterally just noticed the eggs on their favorite rock cave I made they are only 8 inches long is this normal !!?!!?!?!?! none of the eggs are cloudy so not sure yet if it going to be successful crossing fingers
