Hey guys! I just bought a baby Tiger Shovelnose Catfish (Tegra) about a week ago. His size is about 4 inchs. I feed him with grouper fillet 3 times a day. i dont see any problem with it but his tummy get so large at his size. Is it too much i feed 3 times a day? how many time should i give him a food a day? thx!

if you feed it 3 times a day and it eats everything then keep it at 3 times a day the little guy will grow fast
When they start to get larger i would be only feeding 2-3 times a week but by then he should be eating trout, sprats, king prawns,(large food).You should allow its belly to return to normal before offering more food. They also benefit from periods of fasting. They can also suffer from Brown blood disease (Brown blood disease occurs in fish when water contains high nitrite concentrations)
