Hey mfk members I recently got a 6" aro last week and been feeding it hikari sticks and BW. I was wondering how many times a day I should feed it? I read online that 2 or 3 times but the place where I got it at said once is fine so idk thank you all for your help!

I feed mine 3 Times a day (4" jar)
But when they get a little bigger u can cut down to every other day. All depends on how fast u want them to grow. As babies and juvies they need a lot of constnt food

At that size 3 times a day would be fine. Would go once a day after it hits about 10-12"

I'm in ur shoes Nathan and was about to ask that question, I was having problems with my Arowana not wanting to eat and that was because he was stressed so I threw in a few plants and started eating crickets

+1 pellets are great food for aros IMO. if yours is already taking hikari sticks you're one step ahead. feeding them live food is exciting but it's not nutritionally balanced.
