I have ten three to five inch discus. I’m currently feeding them bloodworms in the morning and the live black worms in the evening with the occasional mid day extra snack.

Yet, some members of simply discus are telling me to they need to be fed several small meals a day.. what do you all do?

I can’t get mine touch flakes..

That routine is ok for the 5in, but the 3inchers could use some more food if you want them to reach full potential. Will they take pellets? You can set up an auto feeder to dose pellets a couple times a day. Remember the more you feed, the more water you need to change. Make sure you can keep up with the WCs that added meals necessitate

Thank you they are only taking worms right now so the tetras end up getting all of the flakes and pellets I’ve tried. Speaking of water changes I just did a %50 water change an hour ago. Jack watleys partner in Miami suggest I get them to adapt to my tap waters ph so I’m giving it a go at 7.6. The fish have adjusted quite well as of now. I’ll keep trying with the flakes.
