How many times did it take for your Cubans eggs to produce wigglers?

My cubans have laid eggs for the 2nd time in 2 months. The first attempted they laid eggs and the eggs turned white after a few days. This most recent attempt they laid about 3x times the amount of eggs and the eggs turned white after a weak. Once the second batch was laid I turned off the filter as instructed by my LFS and just went with the sponge filter. I was just wondering if any one else has had this kind of trouble breeding cubans or has any tips for me.

Nah the filter shouldnt be a problem yet. It wont suck up eggs, the problem is the Male is infertile or still immature. Happens a lot with Flowerhorns.

Don't give up bro, they'll get it right! My Cuban pair had 800-1000 fries on their 2nd batch, 1st batch they ate! Now there like convicts, they breed all the time! Your gonna see black dots in the eggs when they get it right!

Thanks ponce ... so far second batch and nothing but white eggs.

Calihawk the male is young probably under a year old so is the female.
