On my 80 gallon aquarium I have an EHEIM 22?? An emporer 400 and a penguin 145 powerhead. I also have a CoraLife 18W UV filtration device.

I calculated that the tank gets completely cycled every 5 minutes...is that too much?

that might be too much return current for the fish but i bet you're water's clear!

You can ajust the amount of current by pointing at the back off you tank, it breaks the flow. Also 1 big outlet give less current then many small ones.

The amount of times an hour is not harmfull for the fish, it's good because it means better water (untill a certain point), you just gotta break down da current so that's it's not to mutch.

Depends on the bioload, big tank and low load maybe as little as to with good filters, I prefer 4.

More the merrier as long as it doesnt hurt the fish... i use about 3 filters per tank and the rest is air stones for water circulation.
