55's are not good "life tanks" for Red belly Piranha. They can grow upwards of 13-14" and a 55 is only 12 1/2" wide. You can use it as a grow out tank for a while though. it could house 2-3 6-7" RB's. A 75 is minimum for RB for life IMO because it is 18" wide.
