How many adult angelfish for my 45 gallon long, dimensions are 12 inches wide, 18 inches tall, and 48 inches long. Tankmates are listed in thread.

One or a pair. I can't keep more than a pair in my tank, and it's six feet long and eighteen wide, so I'd go with no more than one pair in yours. More than this and there are going to be a lot of issues with aggression, with the weaker ones being killed, IMO. If you can't find a pair, then just one really special angel fish would be okay. They get pretty large as adults. Watch the barbs. They nip.

cherry barbs are the exception they do not nip,

well on wednesday iam going to get four black jeuvenile angelfish, about quarter sized, how long if feed well and tank clean and healthy would it take for me to get a pair ?

I don't know because I've only ever bought pairs which were already formed! I'm sure someone else will, though.

cherry barbs and discus won't work. Cherry barbs need it colder.
Apart from that your tank is too small to house angels and discus

I didn't read anything about discus. OP, are you keeping Discus, as well?

apisto has discus on the brain, i am not going to or have kept discus, just to much of a pain in the ass in my opinion, Iam asking how many i could keep and justonemoretank answered that one and now iam wondering how long it takes for angel fish juvies that are quarter sized to get mature if excellently taken care of.
