I am thinking of switching from CA/SA cichlids to African, likely haps and peacocks. I know the water conditions are different and I am doing my research, but I was wondering how many juveniles could be put in a 55 gallon for life? Thanks for your help and any pics of 55 gallon setups would be great.

I wouldn't go with more than 10 juveniles....as they will be adults in no time. I think that 55g is really too small (48"length), they should be kept in a tank of 60" or greater.
