I got a new 120g i like it and i have 3 convicts and 2 firemouths i was going to add 1 oscar and maybe 6 clown loaches but could i leave the oscar out and get 6 clown loaches 5 firemouths and 5 convicts ?

The convicts with 5 will run the tank especially if you get two pairs. If its a 5 foot tank you will have problems down the road. I would slim down the convict down to a male and male firemouth with the oscar. They look small and a lot of empty space however in 6 months to a year the tank will look small for them. Just my opinion though.

If you want the loaches, esp small ones, leave out the oscar...it will outgrow the loaches and eat them.

Why so many firemouths and convicts? Maybe one JD, one Green Terror, a couple of convicts of the same gender, a couple of firemouths, and your pack of loach.
