How many 3 inch Clown Loachs can I fit in a 75 gallon

These guys get LARGE! 12+ inches so I would say unless you plan on larger tanks in the hundreds of gallons don't waste your money or time. I would t do anymore than four for a 75 grow out situation. We do not know what your other stocking levels are either so the four would also depend on what's already in the tank as well. Clowns are also susceptible to ick, so keep that in mind too.

it would take years for a foot CL. Also once they hit 6-7 they will considerably will grow slow. Also for a grow out tank, you should atleast have a 125g or more if you're going (and you will, believe me) add more tankmates. You may start 6-8 Clown loach.

6-8 in a 75 with other inhabitants? Sounds like a bio load nightmare man. Idk just seems confusing to say start with 125 as a grow out but keep 6-8 in a 75 with it being "obvious" more inhabitants will be added. How many oscars can I keep in my 30 gallon lol. Good info I guess man, just a lot of fish to add to a system at once causing a DO spike headache for one and not leaving much room for error with stocking levels IMO.

At one point my 75g had 15~ 4-5" clowns AND a mix of mbuna cichlids about 10 or so @ 4". Nothing happened... As long as you keep up with your weekly water regimes and filtration up to par you should be fine till they need to be rehomed. My clowns went from the 75g to a 300g but, the school is up to 30~. The key is filtration and keeping up with your water changes and you should be good till they need a bigger home.

Yep, filtratrion & wc's are the key factor to how many you put in there. If your willing to do wc's everyother day, then 25 or 30 3inch clowns would prob do just fine. If you only want to do wc's once a month, i would say 4 or 5 may be suitable. Like stated above gd filtration will play a factor also along with their food intake
