How mean can a Ray get?

Been trying to ween my SP ray from live foods for a while but can't really stomach the poor thing getting hungry and in fear of her trying to eat her tank mates.

Question is, how mean can your ray (~9") get during food training? Can it kill the smallest tank mate a 4~5" Indo Tiger?

my retic female about that size has taken down larger feeder goldfish 4" rangeish... imo if they can cover it.... they can kill it.
