How meney of you cichla guys keep monoculus?

I love monoculus eaven thow people think they are the poor common member of the cichla family!

I had a pair about 10 years ago that id take over my nice orino and kelberi" so vivid with the hot orange above eyes and bottom of body and on front pectoral fins"

Don't know who"s mono this is ? but dam beast of a cichla

How did you find them aggression wise? and whot size did you get them to?

At the time I kept 4 monos together with no other cichla. They were aggressive towards each other but nothing critical. I felt most of the aggression was towards the one runt. The largest reach about 14" if I remember correctly. The runt was the smallest and I dont think it grew past about 10". I had them for quite a few years and then moved them on to a much needed larger tank.

All over but I believe mine were from Peru. One of the common location that wild monos are collected.

Peruvian monos were from Peru and my second monos were from putumayo Columbia if memory serves me right.
