How much and how often should i feed my 15" tigrinus.

Because of the stories about tigs dying from overfeeding i thought id ask.
At the moment he is eating prawn and whole mussels he ate about 3 20mm prawns and the next day he ate 3 or 4 20mm long mussels.

What do you guys feed yours?

I'm feeding my 14" Tig with deshelled market prawn cut into pieces. Kept it since 10" & the growth rate is like 4" in 2.5 months :WHOA:

Trying to pellet train him with Hikari Lionhead sinking pellets recently. Hope to convert it soon :naughty:

Thanks for the reply buddy but you didnt say how much or how often you feed him this.
Also he ate some lancefish last night so i know what he likes but i need to know what a normal meal should be.
Do i just keep feeding him until he refuses or will he keep eating until i stop.

I will try and get him on to pellets asap but im unsure how risky this is with a tig.

I give it about 3x 4" market prawn during night time. I can see the bloating stomach after each feed but I think it will still eat further if given the food.
But that's not advisable as they will suffer from indigestion.
 
i fed my 22" tsns every 2nd day a fillet of tilapia or 3-4 shrimps(30-60/lb size)...i would think it would be simmilar for the tigs...i also gave a extra day off from food every now and then to "clear the system"...
