Hi Friends,

So I got a bunch of extra wisteria and red lillies. The pieces of wisteria are just clipping with roots, size is about a few inches long. The lillies are small plants maybe 1-3 inches with roots. I have quite a few and more growing. I'm running out of space so I'd like to get rid of some. What would you sell it for and at what quantity?

Wisteria is pretty much worth zip. You can offer people...but its like my pennywort. If they want to buy pennywort in ADDITION to another plant I usually charge them $0.50 a stem.

If all they want is pennywort, you have to charge a little more to make it worth your while. EXE: more stems than they will ever need for $10

By red lillies do you mean red tiger lotus? Post a picture!

Heres some pics of the tiger lotus/red lily. The first 2 pics are only for illustration purpose. The smaller ones in my hand is what I have available for sale/trade. I have about 5 plants that size available. They are nice starter plants with roots ready to grow.

To be honest I think your better off to just trade off the plants for stuff you could use, certain plants apeal to certain people. Rarely will LFS's trade for plant clippings unless it benefits them which 100% of the time you take a loss.

I would say for quick growing and common plants - .50 - 1$ is fair depending how big the stem is I guess.

These plants are great...I have one, not exactly the same...but established in my 10g. Looks great now.

People...these are easy and beautiful. Easy way to get red in your tank. PM pyramid...

Yeah they sure are easy. They been growing slow and steady. I have had then under really low lights. So they been growing really slow. But I will be adding some T5's in a few days to help them out more. These plants have been growing with no special care at all. I have 2 bulbs that keep putting out little plants. I have a few more to cut soon but the roots aren't developed enough.
