quick rule of thumb from Nature Aquarium World if the ph falls below 7 there is too much co2 if it rises above 7 too little co2. if you've gone through the expence of gettin a co2 injection system check into getting a computerized controll. it'll add co2 to your tank untill the ph reaches 7 then automatically cut it off. i think you can get a simple one for less than $100.
