How much did you guys pay for your festaes?

My LFS got some 3-4" festaes today @ $30 each. I really have no idea what the cost is for a festae so I wanted to get your opinions.

Side note it was kinda funny because I didn't see the sign that said "red terror" right away and I asked one of the guys "how much for the festae?" and he says "what's a festae? thats a red DEVIL". :screwy:
 
Most LFS at that size have them for less than $20. I saw some 3-4 inchers today for 12.99. The one in my avatar at 11-12 inches sold for $600 after shipping. Also, if the guy thought they were red devils he is really screwing you at $30 for that size.

Take the fish. I'll buy it off you if you don't want it. Shouldn't be left anywhere they think its a red devil. Please grab a pic though for all of us.
 
The one i had was a Wild Caught Female that me and my uncle bought but is his then just gave to me but he paid at the LFS for a 5-7" for none since we knew the guy...but your looking at $15-40 for something of this size....most of our fish were for free...like my uncles 9" Male Kamalau Flowerhorn for free and he got his 180 gallon for free on craigslist...it might cost less or more depending in your area...you want a female or male?

hmm well i guess thats not THAT expensive :) but its kinda abit high even for that size
