Hey Everybody,

I'm just curious on how much money did us members spend on our prized fish of our passed and current. This can be for both fresh and marine...since I own both :) For example:

Marine Fish Tank:

Most Exspensive Marine Fish I Ever Had:
$55 for a Male Bluethroat Trigger (Deceased)

Most Exspensive Marine Fish Currently Own: $50 Convict Tang

Freshwater Tank:

Most Exspensive Freshwater Fish I Ever Had:
$80 Motoro Stingray (Deceased)

Most Exspensive Freshwater Fish Currently Own:
$16 Kissing Gouramis (5 inches/fair price)

I think this thread would be interesting, especially when people start saying the've purchased certain exotics for hundred's of dollars...some that come to mind Cross Hatch Trigger, Flower Sting Rays, Gem Tangs..and so on

$200 bucks plus three 7-8" RBPs for my black arowana(11" at the time). This was over 4 years ago and the aro is now 27"
 
$40 for my kamfa and $40 for my delhezi

ATM my prized fish cost me about 25$. our Aba aba knife. My husbands favorite fish is the 15$ Fahaka puffer. Though our Cuban Gar 300$ is quickly also becoming a favorite as he gets more and more personality. most our fish range in that price range.. funny enough generally the more expensive fish aren't neccisarily our favorites.
 
Lolz this reminds me of a time wen there was a HECK of a deal on craigslist. This guy was selling a 200 gallon tank including everything and 2 motoro pairs, he said he was moving and the price was only 600 BUCKS!!!!!! i tried to get it but someone else bought it even though he posted it a couple hours earlier. He also said that he had to leave in a couple days so that is why it is so low.
