There was a guy selling one for $450 on my local club forum, I thought it seemed cheap. I forgot the sp, but how much do they usually universally go for between species?

Its mostly around the median it mostly depends on which species it is from what I heard that long nose are mostly on the tip of the scale and with tropical gars near a more reasonable range but also make sure on which species it is Because I heard that some species of gar can turn really black without being a melanistic and the gar then turns back into its regular color.
