I'm glad someone agrees with me.. WHY IS FLOWERHORN SO OVER PRICED???

Ok i get the idea that they are HUGE and colorful and mean aggressive fish.. but REALLY? i got some LFS owner who has prices on a Flowerhorn for like 210-250 tops.. WTF??? Its not even a RARE fish.. whats a RARE fish? Black arowana. Jardini, african arowana..

Dont get me wrong. i like flowerhorns.. i currently have 7 babies.. they ea cost me $2 bucks.. i also traded 2 for a male peacock.. but honestly.. the fish should be $80 LG to $120 tops.. i dont disagree that these are colorful exotic fish..

I like to say good luck to those LFS owners in selling a fish about $200 bucks in such a ****ty economy..

A fish is worth what you are willing to pay for it. I don't really do the FH thing because of all of the crazy junk they feed them.

They do this to sell them to you and after you get them home, they lose color because they are no longer being pumped with that steriod crap.

I grew some baby Midas out with Grand Sumo Red but it "says" it contains no hormones.

To answer your question, I wouldn't pay more than $25.00
