well just as the title says how much does a bag of concrete mix cost...what are the different pounds of bag of the mix that can be found in homedepot? Where can i find a Clear Glass Sheet to fit a 8'x6'x4' since im not going to keep my monster catfishes or anything that gets to well over 5' anymore...im going to make it a amazon kind of setup still but with my Silver Arowana, 4 Cichla Sp. Orinocensis, Umbee, Female Red Terror(True Festae), Common Pleco and when i get a Jardini Arowana, Niger Catfish, and 6 Clown Loaches...im going to make the indoor pond with concrete walls...or with concrete blocks filled in with concrete mixed in...How much does a single Rod cost? How do i put it into the concrete slab...? This project of mines has been delayed for over a month in a half due to someone borrowing the concrete mixer and a few other equipment...now its going to be set for a few week from now until everything is set...BTW what can i use to make the concrete material water proof?

oh...i just need to cover the back of the concrete wall on the back which is 8' lenght and 4' height, and the 2 walls on the width of the tank which is 6' lenght and 4' height...so maybe need a couple gallons...

anyone know of a place where i can get a clear sheet of glass maybe say 1/8", or 1/2, or a 1" thick?

for taht size tank i dont think glass is the best option consider using acrylic. by the time you get to thick enough glass aka 1" it will be seriously expensive sure you may say well ill get starphire, well starfire may not have a green tint it has a blue tint so either way your screwed. and acrylic and starphire and acrylic cost the same or are very close in price.

oh ok...yea i figured thats going to pricey...well i still got time to save up since the curing of the concrete is over 2-3 weeks on my account with the amount of concrete is being used. I'll see around if i can deal with some of the acrylic sheet industry downtown...:naughty:

oh and on more thing...im not going to buy a sheet to fit the whole front of the tank/pond...since i have 8' in lenght...i'll just be using the 6' in the middle of the lenght area...since i know size and thickness plays a roll in how much i will be paying...i'll see how much a 6'x3' cost at an 1"...should be around $400-600

concrete at the ace hardware I worked was 3~4 bucks for 3500 psi. I would use the cinder blocks and fill them rather than making forms and all that for solid poured walls.
