how much does it cost you to heat your tanks

i heat up a 220g, 75g, 75g, 30g, 30g, 20g, 10g all at 80*
and my electric bill went from $165.00 to $210.00, thats $45 a month just to heat up the tanks

dont ever break it down.. then they start thinking about how many more times they can get there hair and nails done with the money saved.

adds about $30 for me i guess.

I used a killowatt device on a 60 gallon tank that I was heating to about 87 degrees. I guess the tank costs about $10 or less a month to heat. The tank is insulated on the sides and back with bubble wrap. Once summer hits the cost will go way down (in so. cal)
