Just curious since many people here have BIG tanks and water could become a large expense, how much does your area charge per 100 cubic feet (768 gallons)? I know this is a U.S. measurement, but if you want to do the conversions, I'd love to know what people in other countries are paying as well.

Here we're paying $3.77 per 100 cubic feet. For a family of six we pay about $60/month in just water. Of course, our city adds in sewer, trash and taxes and we end up getting billed somewhere around $130/month. :irked:

I have two 150gal tanks along with a 20gal, a 30gal and 2.5gal tank that I do water changes on. The household has 2 people also. I dont use the dishwasher. Every month my bill is at the lowest $22 and at the highest $45 a month that includes water, sewer, trash, taxes, etc.

I pay 0.25 USD cents per 1 US gallon of R/O processed drinking water [TDS < 20ppm]. My tap water I have no idea since it's included in my contract as maintenance.

Last month 2 people and 5 fish tanks that add up to 895 gallons.

I don't understand the units on my bill but it says I used 700 of them last month. My bill was $44.26 Its never been that high before. Normally its $32.60.

I pay different bills for garbage, sewer and taxes. Each are billed separately.

My water bill is about $250-$280 in in the summer months and usually about $80-$100 less the rest of the year. That includes my trash pickup as well.

It's my electric bill that kills me. June thru August runs about $650/monthly....:irked:

Wow...and I thought mine was bad. Your water's about 2x as much as mine and so's your power bill. What are you powering and watering that's costing so much???
